Sunday School accompanied with our Music Program is not only a place to teach the Bible in application and story to children and adults – it is also a program to share your Christianity of weeks past, of talents possessed, and praise. Come and interact with us and grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior. In addition to our weekly Sunday School education program, we provide an annual Vacation Bible School each summer as well as several activities throughout the year. Men’s Club meets the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30p at the church, unless there is a major event taking place in that month. The Men’s Club hosts some great functions that reach out to all our church family, including but not limited to the Christmas Party, Card Party, Lenten Soup Supper and Service, Father and Son or Mother and Daughter Banquets, Lansing Lugnuts baseball outing, and benefit dinners. There are no special requirements to belong to the Men’s Club, just a willingness for fellowship and a good time. Presbyterian Women meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 1:00p at the church, with Bible study, business discussions, and prayer. They assist with church and funeral dinners, support such organizations as “Youth Haven Ranch” with their ministry, and maintain an emergency fund to help people in need. The Youth Group Program provides both spiritual and recreational opportunities for youth; maintains the Taymouth Food Pantry; and works at the church dinners. Outings have included ski trips, shopping and game day (Glow ‘n the Dark Golf), indoor fun day at UM Flint, Rock ‘n Bowl, corn maze and bonfire, annual church “lock-in”, Cardboard City Campout, a trip to Washington D.C. and camping in Muskegon with a day at Michigan Adventure. Funds for activities are raised through an annual cookie dough sale and pancake breakfast. This year proceeds from the church’s “Garden of Eden” were donated to the youth in exchange for their assistance with planting, weeding and maintenance of the garden.
